📖Barica

A subplane of Kinet that governs static compressive force, atmospheric pressure, and fluid dynamics. While Kinet handles the directional movement of objects, Barica handles the ambient pressure and density of the environment surrounding them.

Properties

Barica manipulates the barometric and hydrostatic pressure within a given volume. It alters the density and compressive weight of gases and liquids without necessarily imparting directional kinetic motion. Because it relies on the ambient medium (air or water), its effectiveness is highly dependent on the environment; it functions poorly in a perfect vacuum but is devastating in dense atmospheres or deep water.

Applications

  • Pressure Manipulation: Creating localized vacuums to suffocate targets or generating crushing high-pressure zones to implode structures and biological organisms.

  • Buoyancy Control: Altering the density of the surrounding fluid or air to make objects sink rapidly or float effortlessly.

  • Barometric Shockwaves: Generating devastating concussive blasts by creating sudden, extreme drops or spikes in atmospheric pressure, rupturing eardrums and collapsing lungs.
