Appearance
By look represents a 5-pronged crown made of unknown completely white metal. Under every prong above from the base of the crown in about 2cm can be seen a hole about 0.5cm in diameter and every of them has a thread. Every thread has an non-removable screw within, length of screw from the tip to its head is about 5cm.
Properties
Despite the artifact looking like some kind of a perverted torture device the true nature of it can be opened only when all 5 screws are screwed in head of a living creature with a compatible brain.
The first host can feel greater connection to the Psyche Plane, this is the effect of connecting mind to the special protected part of the Psyche Plane, later named "the Pool". Immediately after getting the Crown on, it copies all of the personality and knowledge the wearer has into the Pool and keeps doing so while it is screwed in.
The host will die if any of the screws is unscrewed, making removing of the Crown fatal.
When the next host gets the crown screwed in their head their brain gets rewritten by the data from the Pool the Crown is connected to, effectively moving consciousness of the previous owner into body of the current one. After the rewrite the Crown keeps its connection to the Pool continuing to "backup" consciousness of the host. The loop does not seem to have any limitations about number of uses.
The Pool has unknown volume, but it is way greater than any known brain. The Crown partly replaces some of the brain functions, specifically some of them related to memory and remembering, taking information directly to and from the Pool. That allows the host to not experience problems with long lifespans and amount of information a normal person would not be able to process and hold in their limited brain, which for example dragons have.
