The goblinoid race produced by a GoD or DGo chromosome pair. Gobdrak are the mixed expression of the Go template and the Draconic chromosome. They most often appear when the mother belongs to one of the drake races, but stabilized Gobdrak templates can also be decanted from hidden Chrysalis Brood-Vaults.

Scaled and wiry: Gobdrak have patches of small scales over rough gobi skin. Their bodies are lean, flexible and suited to ambush.

Head: Their faces are longer and sharper than those of most gobi, with strong jaws and rows of small teeth.

Eyes: Their eyes are bright, alert and often slit-pupiled. Some possess a transparent protective scale or nictitating membrane.

Tail: Most Gobdrak have long, low tails that help with balance.

Claws: Their claws are curved and hard, useful for climbing, digging and grappling.

Temperature adaptation: The Draconic chromosome can grant tolerance to heat or cold depending on the mother's lineage and environment. Some Gobdrak show partial cold-blooded traits, relying on external warmth or shade.

Maturation: They mature quickly, though egg-born Gobdrak may hatch prematurely.

Lifespan: In good conditions they can live 25-60 years.

Sex: Almost all known Gobdrak are male. Natural females are not known to exist.
Character Tendencies

Territorial: Gobdrak strongly defend nesting grounds, tunnels, ruins and hunting routes.

Ambush-oriented: They prefer stillness, camouflage and sudden attack over prolonged open combat.

Adaptable: They adjust well to deserts, coasts, volcanic regions, cold wastes or dense forests depending on the mother's lineage.

Patient: When the environment favors them, they can remain hidden and motionless for long periods.

Draconic fixation: Some Gobdrak show obsessive attraction to heat, light, shiny objects or places with strong planar residue.
Reproduction
Gobdrak reproduction with drake mothers is especially unnatural. The gobi seed can corrupt a forming drake egg, causing it to hatch as a male Gobdrak instead of a drake child. With live-bearing or non-drake mothers, the process resembles other gobi births.
Like other gobis, they are part of the burnout cycle and cannot form a self-sustaining population without mothers of other races or vault activation.
