The gobi race produced by a GoG or GGo chromosome pair. Gobgar are the mixed expression of the Go template and the Garontic chromosome. They most often appear when the mother carries strong Garontic ancestry, but stabilized Gobgar templates can also be decanted from hidden Chrysalis Brood-Vaults.
Appearance and Anatomy

Stocky and dense: Gobgar are short, broad and heavy-boned. Their bodies are suited to tunneling, hauling and enduring hard labor.

Skin: Their skin is thick and rough, commonly earthy green, brown or stone-grey.

Limbs: Their arms are long and powerful, with broad hands and heavy fingers. Their legs are short but extremely stable.

Head: Their faces are blunt and strong-jawed, with wide noses and grinding teeth.

Senses: They are less alert than Gobai or Gobshak, but they tolerate dust, poor air and cramped spaces unusually well.

Maturation: They mature quickly and can perform hard labor within a few years.

Lifespan: In good conditions they can live 25-55 years.

Sex: Almost all known Gobgar are male. Natural females are not known to exist.
Character Tendencies

Tireless: Gobgar can work, dig and march for long periods with little rest.

Tunnel-minded: They show a strong instinct for digging, breaking walls, collapsing passages and moving underground.

Stubborn: Once they fixate on a task, they are difficult to divert. This makes them dangerous in sieges and mining raids.

Trap-makers: They are not subtle planners, but they are good at creating pits, deadfalls, blocked routes and crude structural hazards.

Destructive laborers: Unlike the Garont, whose labor is tied to building and production, Gobgar labor is usually directed toward breaking, burrowing and erasing.
Reproduction
Gobgar cannot sustain themselves through natural gobi reproduction because no natural gobi females are known. A Gobgar male usually transmits the Go template. With a Garont or Garont-blooded mother, the offspring is usually Gobgar. With mothers of other lineages, the child becomes another gobi strain.
Like other gobi, they are part of the burnout cycle and cannot form a self-sustaining population without mothers of other races or vault activation.
