Kayros, 800AC, speech for the Council of Elders of the Taros Tribal Union

Half-legendary Ikor, founder of the Tarosian Kingdom, one of the heads of the Varros Clan. Successor of the Varros Clan and Taros himself. Also known as "Kayros the Great" for his accomplishments and "Kayros the First" as his name became the title.

Kayros was the 4th headman in the lineage of the Varros Clan after the Taros. His charisma, geometer and resonator powers and name of his clan across the Taros Tribal Union allowed him to conquer most of the civilized tribes during the Arial Tribal Unification . He started the Unification at the age of 27 and finished it at 64 (which is not much considering how long Ikor live.

After that he was a wise but strict and conservative ruler. During his rule Kayros brought stability and peace into the realms of the Tarosian Kingdom.

Last years

In his last decades, Kayros became obsessed with preserving the empire he had built, driven by the approaching reality of his natural death. He exhausted all known medical and spiritual practices in a desperate search for longevity or immortality, but found nothing that could halt his decline.

Finally, in his deepest despair, a master shaman from a marginalized, impoverished tribe was granted an audience. The shaman presented an artifact unknown to the royal archives: the White Crown.

The shaman possessed no technical understanding of the artifact's mechanics. His clan had guarded it in absolute secrecy for generations, bound by a single, cryptic oral mandate passed down since the Virian Cataclysm: *"Give it to the worthiest of the legacy, the one who shall unite the Arial under one banner and preserve the order."* The shaman believed Kayros, having achieved the unification of the continent, was the prophesied figure.

Initially, Kayros, an Ikor of the Pillar of Mind, scoffed at the superstition of a primitive relic. However, as his physical body continued to fail, his desperation overrode his calculating nature. Viewing it as his only remaining option, he ordered the artifact to be attached. The process was agonizing and prolonged, but the immediate cessation of his cognitive decay convinced him the sacrifice was worth the cost.

Following his biological death, the Crown's true nature remained a closely guarded secret. Every subsequent successor was forced to undergo the same agonizing ritual, believing it to be a sacred test of devotion to Ark, entirely unaware of the parasitic overwrite they were about to endure. Second Life

The next kayros became his older son, whos body he has taken as his new vessel.
