Ark left us to the Cataclysm because the weight of
our sins was too great to carry on his shoulders anymore. We betrayed the god,
we get the punishment, that's the law. We will make the Arial whole again by force if needed!Kayros, 800AC, speech for the Council of Elders of the Taros Tribal Union
Half-legendary Ikor, founder of the Tarosian Kingdom, one of the heads of the Varros Clan. Son of the Taros.
Kayros was the 4th headman in the lineage of the Varros Clan after the Taros. His charisma, psycher powers and name of his clan across the Taros Tribal Union allowed him to conquer most of the civilized tribes during the Arial Tribal Unification . He started the Unification at the age of 27 and finished it at 64 (which is not much considering how long Ikor live.
After that he was a wise but strict and conservative ruler. During his rule Kayros brought stability and peace into the realms of the Tarosian Kingdom.
Last years
In his last decades Kayros got obsessed to keep all what he built caused by approaching death of natural reasons. At some point he started looking for a way to prolong his life or even acquire immortality. He tried all of the potions, medical and spiritual practices but nothing seemed to do what he wanted.
Finally, when he was in despair to his court came master shaman from a poor tribe. With him the shaman brought an unknown to anyone before artifact - the White Crown. At first he'd laugh at the shaman but then was told that the artifact was kept in his family for many generations and was supposed to be given the one who could unite the Arial under one banner. Also the shaman said that the crown was given to their clan by the Ark the Tyrant themself. At first Kayros had his own suspicions about the idea but his desperation won over and he screwed the crown in, which was painful and long but in the end it was worth it.
After his death the crown became attribute of the king. So every successor had to screw it in not knowing the true purpose of the ritual. How it works see the article.
The next king became his older son.
